Private Neighborhood Walks

Offered 7 days/week

Let us drop in and take Fido on a jaunt around the neighborhood. We can refill his water and food, or give him his meds, a good snuggle and a pat on the head. He’ll have our undivided attention because these walks are one on one and tons of fun.

Day Time: 8am – 9pm

30 minutes of walking: $20

45 minutes of walking: $27

60 minutes of walking: $35


Late Night: 9pm – 8am

Canyon Hikes

Offered Monday – Friday
Available 11AM – 3PM
Limited to 3 dogs / hike

Does your dog have a lot of energy? Has Fido put on a few pounds? Our 3 dog hikes are the perfect answer! We’ll pick up your pooch and take him to the nearby hiking trail of your choice.

60 + minutes of hiking: $35

The Dog Park

Offered Monday – Friday
Available 11am – 3pm

While you’re away your dog can still play. Give him a holistic trip into the dog society at Laurel Canyon or Barrington Dog Park. Our superbly supervised packs are small and the adventure is big time. Being picked up and dropped off is all part of Fido’s fun.

Play Dates

Available 9am - 7pm

A free ride and a full day of supervised super-adventure at our K9 bounce house, also known as Peachtree Summer Camp. The dog house is a place where Fido can lounge around in style in our day room or romp all day in the back yard with the crew. When he’s tuckered out we’ll drop him home just in time for dinner.

8 hour day: $50

Cage Free Boarding

Offered 7 days/week

Your dog’s home away from home is our home, literally. Fido gets a free ride to the pad where we gently introduce him to our little family of pooches. After getting acquainted, he has the run of the house and yard for as long as you’re away. Daily walks and park trips pack his schedule with fun. Our extended guests are treated to a free bubble bath before being whisked home in style.

House Sitting

When you’re away, we can stay. Your dog gets walked in the evening and morning AND he gets to cuddle all night. Daytime potty breaks and feedings are all a part of the fun.

If Fido is one of those special dogs that can’t be boarded and can’t be left alone, we’re happy to hang with him at your home

How our little company works

The Free Meet and Greet

  • The FREE meet and greet generally takes place at your house and is a chance for us all to get acquainted before beginning any service. A meet and greet is not a commitment to service on your part or ours. For boarding clients, we will sometimes ask to screen your dog at our boarding house prior to committing our availability. Call us for more information or to schedule.

Making Normal Reservations

  • We process reservation requests for all services during our normal office hours, Monday through Saturday. We do not respond to email on Sundays but, will accept email reservations as normal as long as they are time-stamped before 6pm. Sunday reservations will be confirmed first thing Monday morning.
  • We prefer reservations be made by email and sent to BarkAfterDark@gmail.com. You
    can also call us directly at (323) 929-BARK(2275).
  • We must confirm all service requests by phone or email before they are considered finalized.
  • Boarding and house-sitting reservations require a 50% deposit before being confirmed. (Please see our cancellation policy for details on refunds.)

Making Last Minute Reservations

  • Any request made on the same day of service or after 6pm for the following day, is considered last-minute.
  • Fees for last-minute reservations vary according to the type of service requested. (See below for last-minute ser vice fees.)
  • Last-minute reservations must be made by phone at (323) 929-2275.
  • Same-day and last-minute booking of all services is subject to availability and first come, first serve. We will make every effort possible to accommodate you.

Picking Up and Dropping Off Dogs

  • We do general transport of our boarding and play-date clients from 9am to 11am and again from 5pm to 7pm, 7 days per week.
  • If your dog needs to be picked up or dropped off outside of normal transport times, we charge our Pet Taxi rate, which is $25.

Paying for Services

  • We accept payment by cash, check or credit card. There is a 3% fee for payments made via Pay Pal.
  • In general, we prefer all services to be paid for in advance unless special billing arrangements have been made and confirmed in writing.
  • Invoices must be paid within 10 days of invoice date unless special arrangements have been made and confirmed in writing. The late payment fee is $25 + 5% of invoice total.
  • The returned check fee is $30 + 3% of returned amount.

Service Cancellations

  • Cancellation of dog walking, hiking, park service and play-dates must be made at least 3 hour s pr ior to original, requested start of service. After that, full price is charged.
  • Cancellations of boarding or house sitting reservations must be made 24 hours prior to start of service or be subject to a fee of at least one full day of service.
  • Cancellation of any late-night service call must be made 8 hour s pr ior to start of service. After that, full price is charged.

Holidays

  • During some National Holidays, our services are limited and our cancellation policy changes to reflect increased demand. Call for more information if your reservation falls on a holiday.

Last-Minute Service Fees

  • Boarding and House-sitting:
    $25 added to first day’s rate. Normal rates apply thereafter.
  • Hikes and Park Visits:
    $10 added to regular price.
  • Play Dates:
    $15 added to regular price.
  • One-on-One Dog Sitting:
    $5 added to total hourly rate.
  • Pet Taxi:
    $10 added to one way price.

Inclement Weather Clause

  • During episodes of extreme heat, wind or rain, we reserve the right to limit our services to only those which are prudent for dog and human well being. Previously agreed upon commitments may be shortened or cancelled without prior notice. Service fees will reflect the adjustment.
